We had our first barre Class on Wednesday last week… What a burn!!

Barre takes inspiration from ballet, pilates and yoga with precision movements designed to work the muscle to fatigue (a good thing) while stabilising through the legs and core.

After a warmup we hit the upper body, then a section for the lower muscles groups using the barre, followed by a section for abs and back and a cool down stretch on the mat.

This coming week is fully booked but we’ve made it onto the Pickaquoy timetable after Xmas on a Saturday 11:30-12:15pm.

Any excuse to hit the barre 😉
