Service Description

The reformer and tower are a great addition to any fitness routine and can be a great way to add variety to your work and prefer to work on a one to one basis. Feel free to book a one to one, or bring a friend or two and split the cost. Client to Instructor ratio - 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1. Reformer Training: 1. Is Resistance training. Using the power of springs, the Pilates reformer helps keep muscles conditioned and joint mobile and cared for 2. Can improved strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance as we are working at a low height. 3. Can support functional movement and healthy ranges of motion. 4. Can reduced symptoms of chronic pain including low- back pain. 5. Can be used at any age or skill level. I am additionally trained to support the specific needs of clients: - living with Multiple Sclerosis -during the Ante/Postnatal Period -with hypermobility, EDS, hEDS or other connective tissue disorder -women approaching, experiencing or having transitioned through menopause. I am fully trained in using the reformer and tower in people with Multiple Sclerosis. All exercises can be completed seated or lying depending on your needs of the day. The reformer and tower are excellent if you have symptomatic hypermobility (either diagnosed or suspected) as the springs provide much needed feedback in the movements (and help keep the joints stable).
