It’s that time of year again, when the weather dictates so many of our choices.
There are a few things you can be proactive about so your mood doesn’t disappear down the drain with the wet (and sometimes relentless) weather.
Here are some tips to help overcome the dulness inside and out:
Gear up properly if you are going outdoors. Get your waterproofs on, make sure your wellies are comfy and most of all that you are warm. Wool will keep you warm even if it gets wet.
Stay in. Light a candle, grab a beverage of your own choosing, catch up on the telly or pull out that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages.
Unplug. Sometimes the internet is productive and sometimes we are scrolling endlessly through nothing much at all. Set a timer and put technology down.
Cook your favourite comfort meal and take the time to sit down and enjoy it.
